Panoramic Digital Image Correlation for 360-Deg Full-Field Displacement Measurement

چکیده

In full-field 3D displacement measurement, stereo digital image correlation (Stereo-DIC) has strong capabilities. However, as a result of difficulties with camera calibration and surface merging, 360-deg panoramic measurements remain challenge. This paper proposes field measurement method in order to accurately measure the shape complex shaped objects natural textures. The proposed is based on robust subset-based DIC algorithm well-known Zhang’s reconstruct estimate displacements from multi-view pairs. used determination scale factor reconstructed stitching multiple surfaces aid laser point cloud data object under test. Based discussion challenges faced by DIC, this details solution describes specific algorithms implemented. tests performance using an experimental system six setup. was evaluated measuring rigid body motion cylindrical log sample known data. results confirm that able morphologies.
